We have been following this philosophy of management since the day this Institute
was established in 1975. Planting their budding talent in such rich soil that gives
bright, ambitious youngsters a start in life. With a better education one can build
a career, whether in India or abroad. The concept that, knowledge should be looked
upon from a holistic rather than a sectional point of view is steadily gaining acceptance
around the world. The rigid demarcation into departments and disciplines is giving
way to inter-disciplinary approaches whereby students can not only take advantage
of the latest technology, but also ground themselves in our rich, pluralistic, multi-faceted
spiritual and intellectual heritage.
Previously, we laid stress on various educational courses and programmes in science
and technology. A paradigm shift in values and priorities of liberalization and
globalization,
developed the aim of grooming future managers with a developed personality
full of skills, whose self concept successfully integrates with the newly emerging
corporate identity.
The upcoming enriched body of academicians co-operating with our faculty, fully
serves the on-going purpose of introspection, perusal and up-gradation of programmes
in instruction, research and training. I have personally invested a great deal of
time and energy in creating strong foundations for MAISM and will continue to do
all that it takes to ensure the best job opportunities through career focused education
for our students.
We, in this Institute, stand in solidarity with the course of building our beloved
nation into a forerunner in the 21st century. I sincerely hope that the Institute
stands true to its stipulated purpose and the Indian youth finds an opportunity
in arming themselves with a developed personality full of skills in various aspects
of management and administration, while studying here. MAISM, represents a new and
innovative approach to knowledge in this 21st century. It is my hope and vision
that one day this will become a unique centre of holistic learning, not only for
India but for the whole world.
