The Department of Computer Science Department and Information Technology (DSCIT) of MAISM is a leading body devoted in imparting innovations in computer science and ICT education. MAISM has strong belief that IT Professionals of tomorrow shall not just be bug heads. They would be visionary, innovators; trendsetters; managers; leaders; motivators and conscious citizens of the society. Hence such individuals would be required to add value to the organization and society. The Computer Science Department aims to refine the students for this noble purpose.

The task of DSCIT of MAISM is uncannily similar to that of a present day organization. Like any successful organization it takes fresher as unfinished product, processes them to add value to the inputs and produces finished Technocrats as output. This turns into reality through the processes of seminars, workshops, interactive sessions and brainstorming discussions that keep the grey cells rolling in rapid coordination.

The institute conducts rigorous sessions with eminent IT professionals and academicians, which promotes intellectual growth among students. Thus, inculcating an interactive work and academic environment. Bringing about logic with applied techniques of management requires crystal clear concept building-a process which we' have dedicated ourselves thoroughly. Hence our students are kept abreast with contemporary development and emerging issues in various areas of industry with dynamic global scenario.

Master of Computer Application

MCA was started in 1998 under approval from the AICTE and affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. MAISM was the first to conduct MCA in private sector in the State of Rajasthan. All the passed out students are well placed in the country and abroad in top notch software companies and corpor-ates.
Admission to the course is made through centralized test at the state level, conducted on behalf of the state government. College for study is allotted on the basis of merit vis a vis in order of given preference, subject to the availability of seats. Candidates need to apply for the entrance test as per notification issued by the test conducting body.

COMPUTER CENTRE
The Institute is equipped with the latest variety of computing equipments having over 250 Core 2 Duo Computers, Licensed version of LlNUX, WINDOWS XP,and WIN 2008 server operating systems with 17" TFT monitor for better visibility. All the labs are airconditioned with 2 Mbps BSNL Broadband and unlimited Internet facility is available for students and faculty members.

MCA is approved by the All India Council forTechnical Education (AICTE), and is affiliated to the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

The R & D Center (MSRDC)

Maharishi Arvind Institute of Science and Management, Jaipur has laid down the complete framework to harness the knowledge and efficiency of IT and S/W engineering. In this field the institute has established S/W development and Research Center called MSRDC, which is working as an integral part of the organization. MSRDC uses the skills of the students and faculties to solve the real world problems of the clients. It not only delivers the complete software solution but also provides consultancy on how the computers can benefit the business of the client economically and efficiently. We have state of the art computing facilities with latest technologies and infrastructure. The most important feature of the cell is that it incorporates all the ways to enhance the intellectual asset of the institution. This cell is mainly focusing on the development of research based tools and technologies for the people and organization working for the welfare of the nation and downtrodden communities

To carry out research and development in the area of information & communication technology, we provide high technology support in the computer field through R&D, design and implementation of tools and technologies.
The two strong pillars of MSRDC are: -

S/W Development & Research:

The MSRDC work towards the fulfillment of the needs of the client by developing complete s/w solutions to its problems. The development procedure undergoes the s/w engineering strategies and methodologies. To ensure the quality of software Testing is done at various stages of development. Very efficient team of developer's stork towards the assured services to the client.

The members of MSRDC are also provided with an opportunity and guidance to carryout research and development work in the fields of s/w development and engineering. The areas of the research and development at MSRDC are-
