UNPARALLEL- GLORIOUS FOURTH TIME CONSISTENT VICTORY OF MAISM-MCA AND RAJASTHAN’S FIRST “CENTER OF EXCELLENCE”IN INFORMATICS

MAISM-MCA is the only college in the entire Rajasthan having the status of Center of Excellence for IBM technologies. This is the IBM’s authorized nodal center for training and education. IBM experts provide the high-end technological training and guidance to the budding technocrats at this center.

MAISM-MCA is the only college at the National level which is Fourth time winner of “NATIONAL LEVEL CONTEST OF IBM USA” in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

RAD –TRAINING & CERTIFICATION PROGRAM, APRIL 2010

 With an objective to provide an exposure to Java technology in IT Industry, IBM Academic Initiative successfully organized a 3 days RAD 7 Workshop for Fundamental training and certification program at the institute The Result was 50% and 95% student scored above than 90.




RED HAT –WORKSHOP CERTIFICATION PROGRAM, APRIL 2010

Two day workshop on Red Hat Linux was organized for the students to give them an insight to the Open Source technology. Mr. Abhimanyu Roy and Mr. Anshuman Dutta (Experts from Red Hat) interacted with students and provided training about various certification exams and how to crack them.

With an objective to provide an exposure to emerging trends in IT Industry, Academic Initiative successfully organized 4-days DB2–9 training and certification program. It was conducted by the corporate trainers under X program. The training program was an excellent blend of conceptual knowledge and practical implementation. During the four days, participants of the program got in-depth knowledge of DB2 technologies.


DB2 –TRAINING & CERTIFICATION PROGRAM, 04TH, 05TH, 06TH AND 08TH APR 2009

With an objective to provide an exposure to current trends in it industry, IBM academic initiative successfully organized a 4 days db2 – 9 fundamental training and certification program at the institute during 4-6 and 8 april 2009,
conducted by the corporate trainers from IBM academic initiative, Mr. Vikash Manoria. 57 students and 6 faculty members attended the training and certification program,
in which 33 students and 6 faculty members successfully passed the examination , and the student Nancy Arya scored 98.9% i.e. highest score record till date in India.

As a commitment towards promised services to mankind, the birth anniversary of our Hon’ble chairperson Madam Bharti Prasher (8th August 2009) has been celebrated as a BLLOD DONATION CAMP.

AN EXCURSION TO EXPLORE THE KNOWLEDGE OF OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE IN 2010

Various excursions and industrial tours are organized to give the physical realization of virtual knowledge of technology and topography practices to ensure the overall development of students.

WORKSHOP ON SERVICE ORIENTED ARCHITECTURE (SOA), 4TH FEBRUARY 2008:

Workshop on the emerging IBM technology Service Oriented Architecture was organized for the faculties and students. The three days workshop was the first SOA workshop across the country by IBM.
The technical expert Mr. Vikas Manoria trained the participants followed by an online SOA Certification Exam.



WORKSHOP ON .NET TECHNOLOGY, 7TH MARCH 2008:
Workshop on .Net technology was organized by QBit experts for enhancement of the knowledge base of the students in real time IT scenario.
The workshop highlighted a comparative study of different tools and technologies used in IT industry.

INDIA’S FIRST WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS ON LOTUS DOMINO BY IBM EXPERT MSS. VIDYA RANGNATHAN, IBM EXPERT WAS ORGANISED ON 25TH- 29TH AUGUST 2008


Five days workshop on the popular groupware by IBM Lotus Domino was organized for the students of MAISM as well as different colleges i.e. MAIET, Banasthali Vidhyapith, S.S.J. Shubodh P.G Collage, in Jaipur under the guidance of IBM Expert Ms. Vidya.
Its industry cost was 25000/- per participants but it was provided free to the MAISMITES. This was again the first workshop on this product by IBM (Lotus Domino) across India. Apart from the conceptual and practical knowledge,
the more important thing they learned was a professional attitude, industry insights and several valuable tips to successfully penetrate the industry.


 
 

SPECIAL WORKSHOP SESSION ON “NANO TECHNOLOGY”,
AUGUST 10TH, 2008 A special 3 hour workshop was conducted on “Nanotechnology and its emergence” by Dr. Ashok. K. Nagavat, an eminent physicist on 10th August 2008. During the session the MAISM- MCA students understood the concept and scope of nanotechnology based devices of future generation. In this session, Dr. Nagavat explained the Post human’s capabilities and future of nanotechnology in the life proliferation.

 

TECHNICAL SESSION ON THREE TIER ARCHITECTURE IN. NET FRAMEWORK ON 13TH MAY 2009

A technical session on three tier architecture in dot net framework was organized by the technical experts from QBit (venture and center for CDAC Pune)experts for the enhancement of the knowledge base of the students in real time IT scenario.

 

 

ORIENTATION, SPIRITUAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMMES MAISM-MCA, IN 2008-09

 

Advancement in technology without spiritual guidelines may lead to destruction in order to facilitate the students with moral values so that these budding technocrats make the use of technological knowledge in an ethical way so that they serve ambassadors for the welfare of mankind. MAISM hosted a number of events with a motto of imbibing students with moral values

 

 

WORKSHOP ON PRANIK HEALING BY MR. HEMANT GUPTA (AN IIT GRADUATE HAVING 34 YRS OF RICH INDUSTRY EXPOSURE), 14TH MAY’09,
A session by pranic healer Mr. Hemant Gupta was organized for the students and faculties in which Mr. Gupta explained yoga vidya pranic healing and how it can be helpful in student life to increase concentration and lead a life free from stress.

 

 

 

MAISM STUDENTS PARTICIPATED AND WON IN THE NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION ORGANISED BY VIVEKANANDA KENDRA KANYAKUMARI ON 14TH OCTOBER’08

With the aim to develop awareness in youth about the energetic preaching by swami Vivekananda, Vivekananda Kendra kanyakumari organized a national level competition in which students participated from MAISM and won the prize.

 

SPECIAL SESSION ON “TIME MANAGEMENT”, AUGUST 7TH, 2008

A special session on “Time Management” was conducted by Dr. Anil Mehta, an eminent orator on 7th August, 2008. During the session, the MAISM-MCA students understood the high felt need to understand the importance of the scarce resource that we all have, i.e., time. Dr. Mehta clarified that it’s not about time management; it’s all about managing one’s self. He added that through effective time management, personal productivity can be increased and you can easily achieve your GOAL.

 

 

 
 

 

 

MAISM-MCA TRAVELED ON THE TRACK OF TECHNOLOGICAL EXCELLENCE.

The Great Mind Challenge 2008 (TGMC-2008), is a National Level Software Project whose axiom is at the heart of IBM's Academic Initiative program objectives, which aims at empowering the students of today to face the challenges of the marketplace of tomorrow. The Academic initiative program facilitates a global model of partnership between industry and academia to drive evolving open standards-based IT skills - essentially “in demand skills for an on demand world”. Fist round: 332 teams were selected from thousands of team across the nation. MAISM was leader because so far 6 teams were selected from MAISM. &nbsp PHOTO GALLERY 2008-09.
